An Enchanting place...

This was our second time adventuring to New Mexico, but this time car camping. Basically sleeping in a 4Runner every night at various magical locations along our route. We were in a place that had mineral deposits and trees over 200 million years ago during the Late Triassic Period. That in it self is a crazy thought, sitting on 200 million year old trees. The landscape of our route changed from mile to mile and was truly soul cleansing. We encountered mountain ranges, inactive volcanoes, sunrises and sunsets that made you really think about how can nature be this beautiful.

After our first visit to Santa Fe, NM it was clear we needed to return. The fact that on the this road trip Santa Fe was not a scheduled trip is a clear indication our addiction with it. It feels different there. Maybe it's the culture, or architecture, or the surrounding landscape. We don't really know what it is, it just feels good. Enjoy some photos from that trip.
